Key information for students starting to consider how senior studies work in the ACT and at JPC.
Students should focus their attention on the subjects that will interest and engage them, as well as those that they are required to do. There is no need to work out what subjects may be majors and minors. This is something that is worked out at the end of Year 10 when you have your results to consider. If you are getting C grades or above for the subjects you intend to continue and you want to be eligible for an ATAR, then you should consider a Tertiary package. If you are struggling with grades a little or just don’t want to focus on an ATAR for university in 2023, then a skill-building Accredited package may be a better option. Either package choice will get you a Senior Secondary Certification (your formal Year 12 qualification).
Below are links to the FAQ’s from the evening, the Senior Subject Information sessions (19/5 to 21/5) dates and times and the further information about enrolment.
